The Telangana Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB) on Tuesday (May 19) released the provisional merit list for the recruitment of 433 assistant professor posts in government medical colleges across 30 departments. The Board has invited candidates for certificate verification in the ratio of 1:3 against the notified vacancies.

Certificate verification will be conducted on May 22 and 23 at the Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Vengalrao Nagar, Hyderabad, while May 25 has been designated as a reserve day for candidates unable to attend on the scheduled dates.

MHSRB in 2025 had issued a notification for recruitment to 607 assistant professor posts across 34 departments in government medical colleges. Of these, recruitment to 174 posts in the departments of Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Anaesthesia has already been completed. The selection notification for these departments was released on April 4. Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narasimha has recently handed over appointment orders to the selected doctors.
